We are seeking an enthusiastic and talented KS2 Writing Lead and Class Teacher to join our vibrant, forward-thinking school. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled practitioner with a passion for developing children's love of writing and raising standards across Key Stage 2.
As our Writing Lead, you will:
- Champion writing across KS2, driving high expectations and inspiring creativity.
- Work with colleagues to plan and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons that motivate pupils and support progress.
- Lead staff training and provide support to colleagues, sharing best practice and innovative strategies.
- Monitor and track progress in writing, ensuring all children are challenged and supported to achieve their very best.
As Class Teacher, you will:
- Deliver exciting, inclusive lessons that engage and inspire your pupils.
- Nurture a love of learning and develop key skills to prepare children for success in KS2 and beyond.
- Create a supportive classroom environment where every child feels valued, safe, and encouraged to succeed.
We are looking for someone who:
- Has a proven track record of excellent classroom practice, particularly in writing.
- Is passionate about curriculum innovation and raising standards in literacy.
- Is a reflective practitioner with strong leadership skills.
- Works well as part of a supportive team and is committed to whole-school improvement.
