We are seeking a dedicated and adaptable Teacher or Instructor to join our Post 16 Team. We would welcome applications from Teachers or Instructors who have a commitment and the potential to make outstanding class teachers/instructors at Southview; with our full support!
You will be contributing to a highly skilled team working on a broad and balanced curriculum to prepare students for their future steps.
About Us
Southview School operates across two sites:
- College Site (Years 7-14): Includes a hydrotherapy pool, business premises, and residential provision.
- School Site (Nursery-Year 6): Caters to our younger students.
The Role
As a teacher/instructors at Southview School, you will:
- Deliver Engaging Lessons: Plan and implement lessons tailored to meet the diverse needs of students across various age groups and abilities.
- Collaborate with Colleagues: Work closely with fellow teachers, support staff, and external professionals to create an inclusive learning environment.
- Support Student Development: Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and implementing strategies to support individual growth.
- Participate in School Activities: Be prepared to engage in extracurricular activities, school events, and the broader school community.
- Adhere to the National Teachers Standards document.
Who We're Looking For
We are seeking educators who:
- Are Qualified Teachers: Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and have experience or a strong interest in working with students with special educational needs.
- Instructors with appropriate experience.
- Are Team Players: Willing to collaborate and contribute to the school's ongoing development.
- Are Committed to Inclusion: Passionate about creating an inclusive environment where all students can thrive.
