Salary- Scale 4 Point 7-8
Actual Salary Range- £12,847 pa to £13,052 pa,
Hours - 21 hours a week - 8:30am - 4:00pm Monday to Wednesday, Term time and Inset days (39 Weeks).
About the Role
We're looking for a dedicated and organised Science Technician to join our dynamic science department. This is a fantastic opportunity to work behind the scenes in a thriving secondary school, supporting practical science lessons and helping students bring science to life through hands-on experiments and discovery.
You will support the delivery of high-quality science education by providing technical assistance to teaching staff and students, including preparing materials, maintaining equipment, and ensuring health and safety standards are upheld in the science department.
Whether you're an experienced technician or just starting out, we'll provide full training and support to help you thrive in the role.
Principal Responsibilities
- To ensure the efficient preparation and organisation of equipment for lessons as required.
- To clean equipment and laboratories after each lesson and any chemical spillage when they occur.
