Admin Assistant - Receptionist required ASAP
Level 5 (Salary points 8 to 12 - £13.90 to £14.82 p/h)
Term Time plus one week in the school holiday's
33.75 hours per week
Monday to Friday (7:45am to 3:30pm Mon, Tues, Thurs, Fri & 7:45am to 12:30pm Wed)
Closing date 24th September 2025 @Midday
Leigh North Street are seeking to appoint an exceptional Administrator to work in our busy school office. We require someone who is committed, enthusiastic, organised and highly motivated.
Applicants should be computer literate and have a good understanding of Word and Excel. Knowledge of SIMS is an advantage but not essential as training will be given for the right candidate. It is an expectation that candidates hold GCSE grades A- C, or equivalent, in both Maths and English. Previous school admin experience is desirable.
You will play an integral role in ensuring the smooth running of the front office, and be the first point of contact for parents, pupils, staff and visitors so the ability to listen and the desire to help are also essential to the role.
The individual must have the ability to work under their own initiative and be able to work calmly under pressure. He/she must also be organised in their working practices, whilst understanding the need for tasks to be put aside when something needing more immediate attention arises.
