Learning Support Assistant
Required to start ASAP
22hrs 30mins per week - 5 days
39 working weeks
Pay scale 3 pt 5 (LSA/MDA)

We are looking for a dynamic and motivated Learning Support Assistant to join our supportive and collaborative team. The role is for 22.5 hours per week (term time only). This is made up of 5 mornings and 5 lunchtimes.

We are seeking someone with experience of working, understanding and supporting children within an educational setting, demonstrating good teaching and learning skills, a commitment to team and collaborative working and ability to display an innovative approach to education. They should thrive when working with children and have excellent communication skills. We need an exceptional individual who will be an inspirational role model to our pupils and work with both teachers and the wider school community to establish a supportive and nurturing learning environment in which children make rapid academic progress.
The role will involve class-based support and lunchtime duties.

We have recently set up our own in-school enhanced provision for children with moderate and severe learning difficulties and we are proud of our inclusive ethos. We are very proud of the achievements of our pupils and this pride is echoed by the children themselves. We have a team of committed, supportive and friendly staff who strive to ensure that our children reach their full potential within a warm and caring school community.
