Caretaker/Lettings Coodinators
Start date: ASAP
Perm/ part-time / Job share/ maximum of 25 hours per week.
Southend LGPS Scale 4 (£25,183 - £25,584 FTE)
We have an opportunity for enthusiastic and experienced individuals to join Chase High School as Caretakers, with responsibilities for overseeing the lettings across the Site.
The post holders will be responsible for front of house services within the Sports facilities, which will include but not be limited to, receiving and processing lettings, ensuring facilities are safe and available for hirers, overseeing equipment required for bookings, and general day to day operations during the hours that the facility is open for lettings.
They will also form part of the Caretaking team with responsibilities around basic maintenance, site security, portering duties and general site maintenance.
The roles will form part of a job share and hours will follow a shift pattern.
The school will consider requests for part time hours up to a maximum of 25 hours per week.
Shift patterns worked will be between the hours of :
Monday - Friday evenings (17:30 - 22:30)
Saturday - Sunday (07:30 - 16:30)
Work during day time hours in the school holiday periods and evenings during the weekend will also be considered based on demand from hirers.
Chase High School is a mixed, mainstream secondary school located in Westcliff-on-Sea, Essex. It educates more than 1,300 pupils aged 11-18 from over 40 countries.

Chase High School is a mixed, mainstream secondary school located in Westcliff-on-Sea, near Southend, Essex. It educates more than 1,000 students aged 11-18 from over 40 countries. Since 2011, the school has had a sixth form.
Chase High School was built more than 100 years ago and recently secured academy status under the Discovery Educational Trust. The secondary school continues to be involved in the community, forging local and international partnerships.
At Chase High School, academic achievement and personal performance are pursued in equal measure. Every student matters and the school policy is to treat everyone with dignity and support.
