An exciting opportunity has arisen at Chelmsford College for a confident and motivated professional to join our team in a key role supporting students in securing meaningful work placements across both campuses. The role is based primarily on-site and involves working closely with local employers to create high-quality placement opportunities that align with curriculum needs and meet all contractual and administrative requirements.

This role is ideal for someone with a background in business development, employer engagement, or sales experience, who thrives on building partnerships, generating leads, and driving results. A proven ability to connect with businesses, identify opportunities, and convert conversations into placement agreements is essential.

In addition to employer engagement, the successful candidate will support young people in preparing for the workplace, ensuring they have the skills and confidence to succeed. Strong IT and administrative skills are critical to managing placement records, maintaining accurate documentation, and ensuring compliance with all processes.

The role also involves close collaboration with curriculum managers to support stakeholder engagement and coordinate events that enhance the student experience and strengthen employer relationships.

This is a fast-paced and rewarding role that offers the chance to make a tangible difference in students' lives while growing your own professional network across the local business community.

The candidate must also have a full driving licence and own transport as employer workplace visits form part of the role.

The College is committed to equality and diversity and to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. We expect all staff to share these commitments.

Starting salary will be dependent on qualifications, skills and experience. This post is subject to an enhanced DBS check.
