PASTORAL ASSISTANT

37 HOURS PER WEEK / 40 WEEKS PER YEAR

(term time including inset days + 1 week holiday working)

SCALE 5 POINTS 9 - 12

FTE SALARY £26,409 - £27,711 (ACTUAL SALARY £23,197 - £24,341 PA)

We are looking to appoint a committed, enthusiastic, adaptable individual to join our successful Student Services Department. To provide support to students and parents in terms of positive behaviour, attitude, attendance, physical wellbeing and pastoral care to enable students to make relevant progress and engage in their learning.

Previous experience of working with children (11-16) preferably in an educational setting is required and experience of dealing with external agencies would be an advantage. The successful candidate will have excellent and efficient organisational skills, strong interpersonal skills combined with strong literacy, numeracy and ICT skills (Microsoft Office & SIMS). They will also have a calm and tactful approach, the ability to work to tight deadlines and be emotionally resilient.
