We have two exciting apprenticeship vacancies available for motivated candidates to join our growing team at Dovedale Nursery.
The position requires dedicated and hard-working people who want experience working with the full age range from 1 year to 12 years which covers early years and primary ages. The right candidate will benefit from the wealth of experience from mentors who have 5+ years' experience at Dovedale Nursery.
The candidate would need to be flexible, willing to work as part of a team and confident to ask questions to learn the ropes. They will be required to have a positive mindset and can-do attitude!
Main responsibilities & desirable skills
• Engaging with children from the whole age range mentioned above
• Supporting children with emotional and social wellbeing (Out of School)
• Fostering independence in an age-appropriate way
• Follow safeguarding procedures
• Support the team with tidying, cleaning and food preparation for all children
• Good understanding of safeguarding procedures
• Good understanding of Health and Safety procedures
Hours:
Hours will be split between the Nursery and Out of School provision. You will be expected to follow an alternating early/late shift pattern of 7am to 3pm or 9:30am to 6pm.
You will have one day per week to attend College or to complete College course work.
