Join a warm, values-led Church of England primary school at the heart of its community. St Osyth CofE Primary School, part of the Vine Schools Trust, is seeking a committed and aspirational Deputy Headteacher to help drive the school's ongoing improvement journey.
This is a key leadership role with responsibility for supporting the Headteacher across all aspects of school life - including behaviour, curriculum, safeguarding, staff development, and the school's distinctive Christian ethos. We welcome applications from Assistant Headteachers as well as substantive Deputy Headteachers who are interested in progression to Headteacher in future.
We're looking for someone who:
- Is an experienced primary leader and outstanding classroom practitioner
- Can motivate and develop staff at all levels
- Brings a clear moral purpose and commitment to inclusion
- Will get hands-on with improving outcomes, especially for year 6
- Is confident in leading on behaviour, safeguarding, and curriculum improvement
- Has experience of school improvement
