The Flitch Green Academy are looking for an Office Manager!
START DATE: As soon as possible in September 2025
HOURS: 8:30 - 16:00 Monday to Friday. Term time plus 5 non-pupil days per year
SALARY: Scale 4, point 7 - Actual salary £21,933 (pay award pending)
The Flitch Green Academy is a modern primary academy set in rural Essex near Dunmow. We are looking to recruit an experienced and enthusiastic Office Manager to join our friendly admin team.
The successful candidate should have the following experience:
Essential:
· experience of working in a busy school environment
· have a strong understanding of administrative work
· have excellent communication skills (including numerical and written skills)
· be able to use a range of IT programmes, especially the Google and Microsoft suites
· experience of working with the public
· experience of working in a fast paced environment
· be able to effectively manage time, prioritise tasks and work to deadlines
· be positive, enthusiastic and a real team player
· be self-motivated, resilient and able to work using their own initiative
Desirable:
· prior working knowledge of management information systems, for example ParentMail and RM Integris
You will play an integral role in ensuring the smooth running of the front office, and be the first point of contact for parents, pupils, staff and visitors.
Duties will include, but are not limited to (please see job description for further details):
· all aspects of office management
· processing admission applications
· arranging after school clubs
· assisting teachers with arranging school trips
· inputting invoices and payments on to the school finance system
management of ParentMail including booking of before and after school club and parents evenings
