SILVER END ACADEMY - AFTER SCHOOL CLUB SUPERVISOR
We are looking for a After School Club Supervisor to manage our After-School Club. This position is to deliver fun, safe, and inclusive sessions that spark imagination and build confidence. This is a great opportunity for someone with a genuine passion for working with children and helping them thrive through structured play, arts & crafts, games, and sports.
This position is for 10 hours per week, working pattern would be Monday - Thursday, 3.00pm-5.30pm, term time only, this is initially on a fixed term 1-year contract, with the potential to be extended. This position is paid on Scale 4 point 7-8, Actual salary, £5768-£5860 per annum.
Responsibilities include:
- Delivering quality play opportunities within a safe and caring environment.
- Providing comprehensive care for the children.
- Providing refreshments and ensuring that hygiene, health and safety standards are met.
- Administering first aid when necessary.
- Consulting with children and involving them in planning activities.
- Undertaking appropriate and relevant training.
- Keeping the work environment healthy, safe and secure.
- Working within the framework of the club's policies and procedures.
The successful applicant should preferably have:
- A calm and kind manner.
- An ability to be organised and work under pressure.
- An ability to follow instructions as well as to work on their own initiative.
- A commitment to meeting the needs of all pupils.
- Some Catering knowledge.
- Hold a A-C (or equivalent) grade in both Maths and English
