We wish to appoint a professional and approachable Central Administratorto support our collaborative administrative team.

This post is presently based at our Lower academy. However, staff can be redeployed to either site dependent upon operational needs.

Salary Range: Salary Band 3:£27,472- £29,730.Actual starting salary is £27,472 (with annualperformance-based increments)

Working weeks: 52 weeks (both term time and non-term time less annual leave)
Working Hours: Hours between 07:30-16:30 Monday - Friday (37 hours per week)

You may also be required to work during parents' evening and special events (notice will be provided).

Under the instruction/guidance of the Academy Support Manager, the Central Administrator willbe responsible for undertaking administrative and organisational processes within the Academies.

Responsibilities include-

  • Plan, organise and participate in a busy Academy Central office to ensure instructional and other goals of the Academies are met and needs of administrators, faculty, parents and students are addressed in an effective and timely manner
  • Provide general clerical/administrative support
  • Maintain manual and computerised records/management information systems
  • Organise, set priorities and exercise sound independent judgement within areas of responsibility.
  • Operate the school's computer-based administrative system.
  • Acknowledge receipt of correspondence and composing routine replies.
  • Use email to provide communications when required
  • Undertake Central Exclusions administration
  • To provide relief cover on the Switchboard as required.
  • To provide first aid support to students and staff (training to be provided)
  • Provide Agency staff with appropriate documentation (Registers, Cover work)
