COVER SUPERVISOR
Scale 5 points 9-12 £26,409 - £27,711 PA FTE
(Actual salary £17,898 - £18,780 PA)
Hours: 29 hours 15 mins per week term time + inset days (39 weeks per annum)
The role offers an excellent opportunity for those considering entering the teaching profession to gain valuable school based experience.
We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our team of Cover Staff who supervise whole classes during the short-term absence of teaching staff. Duties include supervision of classes maintaining an orderly and productive atmosphere, ensuring that cover work set is undertaken by the pupils and providing support in other areas of the school when not required for cover.
The successful candidate will evidence successful, recent experience working with children of a relevant age and must have a grade C or above in English and Maths at GCSE or equivalent and good IT skills.
