Job Role: Learning Support Assistant
Pay Range: Local Government Scale 3 (Point 5-6)
Working hours/weeks: 25 hours per week, 38 working weeks
Start Date: 1st September 2025 (fixed for 1 year)
The Role
At Holland Park School, we aim to provide for both children and staff an environment in which all individuals are valued and which demonstrates the importance of wholeness and quality of life. Our Learning Support Assistants are a vital part of our team and integral to the ongoing success of the school. We are looking for an excellent LSA for a fixed term period to help us to provide support to a pupil with SEN giving them the encouragement to work and the opportunity to achieve their potential in their development.
Some of your key responsibilities will include:
· Working with an individual student under the direction of teaching staff
· Support the use of ICT in the classroom and develop a pupils' competence and independence in its use
· To assist with the preparation, maintenance and control of stocks of materials and resources.

We're looking for you if you have:
Experience of working with primary age children
Knowledge of relevant codes of practice and school policies
Work effectively as part of a team and contribute to the group.
