Are you passionate about having a positive impact on the lives of pupils with SEND? We are delighted to offer this unique opportunity to lead on our new internal SEND hub.
Our SEND hub known as Elm Class at Wyburns Primary provides an opportunity for the children who access the hub to have their complex needs met through personalised provision and a curriculum written using the engagement model and development matters framework. Our children who access the provision have the opportunity to reintegrate into their mainstream classroom throughout the school day so they can thrive in both settings. Following principles that are established in special need schools, such as communication boards, Makaton, visuals and workstations, we are proud of the extensive offer we provide for the children and the fantastic progress they make.
This truly is a unique opportunity to be part of a successful, supportive and collaborative academy that has a shared moral rooting, vision and values whilst maintaining school level autonomy and individuality.
