An exciting opportunity has arisen at Hatfield Peverel Infant & Nursery School to join our fantastic midday team. We are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable person to help ensure that our children have a safe and happy lunchtime.
Required 12:00 - 13:00 Monday to Friday from 1st September 2025
There are various duties shared between our midday team that include:
Assisting children at lunch time.
Supervising children on the playground.
Administering minor First aid (training will be provided).
Interacting with the children and encouraging participation in games.
Clearing the tables and chairs.
The successful candidate will demonstrate:
A passion for working with children.
The ability to engage the children through play.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.
Excellent organisation skills and record keeping.

Hatfield Peverel Infant and Nursery School is a two form Infant School with an attached Nursery. It has excellent transport links to Chelmsford, Witham, Maldon and Colchester. We are a semi open plan, well resourced school with our own school garden.
