Higher Level Teaching Assistant

10 Hours per week worked over 5 days, Term time only

Scale 5 Point Range 9-12, £26,409 -£27,411 Pro Rata (FTE), (£5,954.82 - £6248.40 per annum Actual)

We have a vacancy for a Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our small, friendly team.

The successful candidate will:

· Possess excellent teaching skills with a positive approach to classroom management

· Be organised and have good communication skills

· Have experience of providing cover for PPA sessions and absent teachers

· High expectations for behaviour and achievement, supporting the school's policies

· Value every child and all they offer to the school community

· Maintain a positive approach to classroom management and child development

· Be friendly and approachable, with drive and a positive attitude.

· Has a belief in inclusion, diversity and access and the right of each pupil to maximise their potential whatever their needs and abilities

· A patient and positive attitude, along with a good sense of humour

Christchurch C of E Primary School admits Infant and Junior Boys and Girls aged to 4 to 11.

The admissions limit is 25 pupil per year group.

In September 2015, we became part of the Diocese of Chelmsford Vine Schools Trust.

Christchurch C of E Primary School is one of four schools in the Dengie Hundred forming part of The Diocese of Chelmsford Vine Schools Trust. The Vine Schools Trust is a growing academy Trust currently serving twenty-three schools across the diocese.
