Position Start Date: September 2025
Contract Term: Permanent, Term Time only
Hours: Part-time, Monday to Friday (30 hrs per week) 6 hours per day, ideally 8.30am to 2.30pm - hours negotiable for the right candidate
Pay Scale: Scale 4 (points 7-8) plus £706 outer fringe allowance, paid pro rata for part-time employees. Total annual salary £17,824
We are looking to appoint a pro-active, efficient and committed individual to promote high levels of attendance and punctuality of students within our school and sixth form. Duties will include monitoring and analysing attendance data; developing good working relationships with colleagues to ensure attendance strategies are implemented; advising and supporting students and their parents/carers to improve individual attendance.
The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to be assertive where necessary, be organised with good attention to detail and have the ability to produce reports and analyse data.
Applicants should have experience of working with students and families in an educational environment.

· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a calm and professional manner.
· Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
· Confidence using ICT systems, databases, and spreadsheets (training provided if needed).
· A proactive and empathetic approach to supporting families and pupils.
· The ability to work flexibly, independently, and as part of a wider pastoral and safeguarding team.

Castledon School is a Special School for pupils with Moderate Learning Difficulties and additional complex needs from Year 1 - Year 14.
