We are looking for a Finance and Premises Assistant who can provide an efficient and effective service for the School.
Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will provide efficient and professional support with key finance and site operation functions.
About The Role:
- Administer the school Educational Visits process from start to finish, and be main point of contact for all stakeholders
- Administer the school's program of Peripatetic music lessons, and be main point of contact for all stakeholders
- Administer site lettings, and be main point of contact for all stakeholders
- Administer the distribution, payment and allocation of lockers
- Assist Finance Manager to accurately maintain the school finance system, according to regulations.
- Administer all fund-raising activities and main point of contact for all stakeholders
- Provide general support to the Finance Manager and Site and Maintenance Manager in the day to day administration of finance and premises matters
About You:
- Experienced in general office and finance administration
- Excellent numeracy and literacy skills, with ability to use MS Office and financial software systems
- Flexible and adaptable to competing priorities and changing situations
- Exceptional organisation skills, and able to work accurately with attention to detail
- Strong communicator both face to face and via phone/email

Key terms:
- Hours: 37 hours per week.
- Terms: Full time (although applicants requesting term time plus 2 weeks would be considered)
- Duration: Permanent
- Location: Based on site within the school.
- Remuneration: The Essex Schools' Local Government Scale 5, Point 9 (within ranges 9-12). £27,711 gross per annum.
- Annual leave: The annual holiday entitlement for this post starts at 25 days plus bank holidays (April to March)
