An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our popular, oversubscribed school in Warley, Brentwood. We are looking to appoint a highly committed, motivated and caring SENCO to join our friendly and welcoming team from September 2025.

We are seeking to appoint an outstanding SENCO with a vision for inspirational education provision, who believes in unlimited opportunities for all children. The successful candidate will work in partnership with the Senior Leadership Team to direct and manage the provision of special educational needs learning support; to promote high quality teaching, effective use of resources, and high standards of learning.

This role would suit both experienced and aspiring SENCOs. You will have a passion for working with pupils and assisting them on their journey. You will be resilient and have excellent de-escalation skills. The ideal candidate will be able to nurture supportive relationships and be able to demonstrate a practical, hands-on approach to supporting teaching. You will be required to carry out the duties of a SENCO, advise on strategies, curriculum adaptations and communication interventions as well as assess, observe and provide recommendations. You will need to be a qualified primary teacher and either have a SENCO qualification or the desire to gain one. Above all, you should be passionate about making a difference to the lives of children.
