Actual Salary from: £35,633 - £39,398 (Points 29-33)

The Role

Are you highly organised, discreet and able to work in a fast-paced educational environment? We are seeking an exceptional Personal Assistant to support the Headteacher in delivering the strategic vision and daily operations of our vibrant and high-achieving school.

  • This post is 37 hours per week, 42 weeks per year (term time plus non-pupil days and 3 weeks during school closure periods).

Some of your key responsibilities will include:

  • To provide high-level administrative and organisational support to the Headteacher
  • Manage the Headteacher's diary, schedule appointments and coordinate meetings with internal and external stakeholders
  • Handle confidential correspondence with professionalism and integrity
  • Prepare reports, agendas and minutes for meetings and draft a range of correspondence
  • Act as a first point of contact for the Headteacher, ensuring a welcoming and efficient experience for all visitors
  • Undertake a range of duties as the HR link, liaising directly with the People & Culture and Payroll teams

Paxman Academy opened in September 2019 and admitted 180 Year 7 students in the first year.
