Year 1 Teacher Fixed-term temporary

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, dedicated and highly motivated teacher to join our friendly and committed team for 2.5 days per week (Wednesday Morning, Thursday and Friday). This fixed-term temporary contract is for one term, starting in September, with the possibility of extending on a termly basis. All planning will be done but 1 hour additional pay in lieu of PPA is offered.

The successful candidate will:

· have an excellent understanding of Key Stage One expectations

· have experience of implementing Continuous Provision

· be an excellent classroom teacher who has high expectations of pupil achievement and behaviour

· be able to work effectively as a team member and have exceptional communication skills

· be committed to raising standards

· be proactive, organised and able to prioritise workload

· provide a creative, engaging learning experience for young children

· have a clear understanding of how young children learn and what they need to enable them to thrive
