Plus TLR 2B Allowance
(£5,832 per annum)
This is an exciting opportunity for a talented and enthusiastic Design Technology Teacher to lead the Design and Technology Department at Brentwood County High School (BCHS). The school has a strong ethos in well-being and creating a sense of belonging for all our students, with a strong whole-school approach to pupils having a student voice and mental health awareness.
The successful candidate will:
- Be creative, innovative, efficient and committed to improving outcomes
- Have excellent subject knowledge and be passionate about Design Technology
- Be able to lead a highly motivated team of superbly collaborative teachers
- Have a progressive and stimulating approach to teaching and learning
- Hold QTS status

BCHS is located in the heart of Brentwood, near the town centre, a short distance from the train station, which is 25 minutes from Liverpool Street Station. The school, which also includes a large sixth form campus and achievements at KS5 have been a key strength at BCHS. Parking is available on-site and there are good transport links by both rail and bus. BCHS is just over two miles from the M25.
Brentwood County High School is a member of the Osborne Co-operative Academy Trust. The Osborne Co-operative Academy Trust is a Multi-Academy Trust, with twelve member schools within Essex. All schools in the Trust work in equal partnership and are members of the schools' Co-operative Society.
