Location:Greensward Academy (Hockley) or New Rickstones Academy (Witham)
Hybrid working:3 days in the office and 2 days at home
Hours:37 hours per week, 52.14 weeks per year
Salary: £29,000 - £34,000 + wellbeing cash plan + pension scheme (LGPS) + additional Lift Schools benefits
Contract: Fixed-term maternity cover till June 2026

Join our brilliant team supporting 12 schools across the East region.
We're looking for a Regional Officer to play an essential role in supporting our mission to deliver an excellent education to every child, in every classroom, every day.
In this exciting fixed-term opportunity, you'll support the running of our East regional team, which oversees 12 schools. You'll work closely with our Regional Education Directors and provide high-level administrative, governance and coordination support that keeps our region running smoothly.
As a Regional Officer, you'll have the opportunity to:
- Provide executive support- Manage diaries, coordinate meetings, and help the Regional Education Directors stay one step ahead.
- Build strong relationships - Collaborate with school leaders, regional colleagues and central teams to deliver seamless operations and positive outcomes.
- Enhance regional governance- Support School Councils, monitor policy compliance, and coordinate safeguarding, health and safety, and Ofsted readiness.
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- Strong organisational skills- Confident in managing priorities and meeting deadlines in a busy environment.
- Excellent communication skills - Able to engage clearly and supportively with people at all levels, both in person and online.
- Technical proficiency - Comfortable using Google Workspace and other tools to streamline your work.
- Commitment to education - Driven by a belief in the power of education to transform lives.

Information about the School
New Rickstones Academy is a co-educational 11-19 comprehensive, part of Lift Schools. We have approximately 135 staff.
The school has modern, state of the art building offering a first class learning and working environment to students and staff. The main building opened in 2012 and a new 2-storey building was added in September 2022 to accommodate our rapidly increasing popularity and student numbers. This success is also evident in our increasing published admission number (PAN), up to 240 from 180 since September 2022.
