Forest School Nursery Apprentice

Pay Rate: £7.55 per hour, rising to national minimum wage after first year.

Hours of work: Term time only, 9am-3pm.

Situated on the edge of Pudney Woods in the heart of Clacton, Little Pals Forest Schools endeavours to provide a nurturing space where children can grow emotionally and physically, building confidence as they prepare for school and beyond. Children take part in regular Forest School sessions that includes woodworking, fire pit cooking, and looking after our chickens and ducks.

As a Nursery Apprentice, you will help:

· Plan and deliver engaging activities

· Form strong bonds with children and their families

· Create a safe, clean and stimulating environment that encourages a child's curiosity

· Maintain safeguarding procedures and ensure the nursery policies and procedures are followed

What we are looking for:

· Maths and English grade 4 or above

· A passion for childcare and a positive attitude

· An energetic individual with a love of the outdoors

· Good communication skills with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and our families
