We are looking for an experienced Learning Support Assistant to join our friendly team and support the work of the Bournemouth Park Academy SEND department.
As an LSA supporting the work of the Resource Base you will:
• Support the day-to-day operation of the Resource Base, providing a safe, structured, and
nurturing learning environment.
• Support the delivery of high-quality learning activities, under the guidance of the SENCO and
teaching staff, tailored to individual pupil EHCP targets and needs.
• Support pupils with a range of additional needs, including but not limited to Autism, Speech
and Language difficulties, and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health needs.
• Liaise with class teachers, ensuring integration into mainstream where appropriate and
supporting transitions.
• Prepare materials and resources to support individuals, small groups and classroom activities
• Lead interventions for children with individual targets and small groups of children
• To assist the classroom team in delivering educational programmes, designed by the teacher,
SENCO and other professionals.
