Primary School Wrap Around Care Assistant required
Hours: 3:30 -6:00pm, (Term Time Only) 1 Year Fixed Term Contract
Salary: Essex Schools Scale 4. Pt 7-8

We are seeking warm, enthusiastic and reliable Wrap Around Care Assistants to help provide a safe, engaging and nurturing environment for our pupils during our after-school club.
About the Role:
Working with children aged 4-11, you will be helping to deliver fun, age-appropriate activities that encourage creativity, cooperation, and confidence. From craft tables and games to outdoor play and quiet reading corners, your role will be to ensure each child feels safe, happy and included.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise and actively engage children in play, learning and social activities
• Set up and clear away resources and snacks before and after each session
• Promote positive behaviour and model respectful interactions
• Ensure the health, safety and wellbeing of all pupils in your care
• Communicate effectively with staff, children and families
We're Looking For People Who:
• Are reliable, punctual, and committed to supporting children's wellbeing
• Have experience working with children aged 4-11 (in a school or childcare setting preferred)
• Are fun, creative and caring with a positive attitude
• Understand the needs and routines of primary-aged children
• Are willing to undertake Level 3 Safeguarding training and Paediatric First Aid training
• Can work both independently and as part of a supportive team
