Hours/weeks - 15 hours per week Monday - Friday. We are flexible with the times of work but hours must be spread over 5 days a week. 38 weeks worked during term time only.
We are currently seeking to appoint a flexible, reliable, and self-motivated individual with high organisational skills and an eye for accuracy.
You will be working alongside the Trust's Business Managers, Finance Assistant and other central office staff who are based at The Launchpad in Rochford. You will be processing purchase orders, procuring best value for money across the Trust, placing orders with suppliers and following up any discrepancies for all four schools within our trust. You will be responsible for keeping the filing up to date. You will communicate with other colleagues to ensure that deliveries are checked and processed in a timely manner. You will be responsible for ensuring that all orders are approved by the appropriate person and that all processes follow our policies and procedures ensuring compliance for audit purposes. A knowledge of FMS software would be desirable but not essential as training can be provided.
The successful candidate must have:
· The ability to work efficiently with IT systems and Microsoft applications
· A working knowledge of office practice and procedures
· Excellent interpersonal skills
· Good attention to detail, with an ability to spot numerical errors
· The ability to prioritise workloads, have excellent time management and organisational skills
