Oakfield Primary School is a 2 form entry primary school located in Wickford, Essex. With a large field, dedicated outdoor learning area, and an EYFS learning garden, our school provides a vibrant and engaging environment for our pupils. We also have an ICT suite, cooking area, and on-site breakfast and after-school clubs, ensuring that we cater to the diverse needs of our community.

An opportunity has arisen for a full-time permanent teaching position at Oakfield Primary School. We are seeking to appoint a committed and creative classroom teacher who is passionate about learning. You will have the ability to inspire, engage, and motivate our pupils to do their very best.

For the right candidate, we have a leadership opportunity to join the senior leadership team. This position would suit someone who is hard-working, flexible, driven, and relentless in their pursuit for excellence. You will need to be a good role model with excellent subject knowledge, strong pedagogy, and a passion for improvement. The leadership opportunity would be to lead an area of school improvement, working alongside other senior leaders to develop teaching, learning, and assessment.

Key Responsibilities:

· Plan and teach well-structured lessons that promote a love of learning and intellectual curiosity

· Make accurate and productive use of assessment to secure pupils' progress

· Contribute to the design and provision of an engaging curriculum within the relevant subject area(s)

· Promote consistently high expectations and support all pupils to make good progress

· Promote and support inclusion for all pupils, including those with SEN, EAL, or physical disabilities

· Work collaboratively with staff and the school leadership team to embed whole-school strategies

Requirements:

· Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience with primary-aged children

· Passion and enthusiasm for teaching, with a focus on putting children at the forefront of lessons

· Excellent subject knowledge and strong pedagogical skills

· Good organisational skills and a drive for improvement

· Keen team player, with the ability to work well with staff and the school leadership team

· Integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality

· Commitment to professional development

· Leadership experience
