If so, we are looking for a Learning Support Assistant to join our forward-thinking team. Experience is preferred, but training can be offered for the right candidate.
We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant who will enjoy working in a school that values and delivers excellent professional development. The successful candidate will be capable of inspiring students through their involvement with pastoral support and have a firm belief in the potential of all students.
You must be committed to providing a quality education and experience for all and will need to excel in your classroom practice.
Duties will include:
· Preparing, delivering and tracking high quality interventions under the direction of the SENCO and teaching staff.
· Offer functional, literacy and numeracy skills in a range of settings including the classroom.
You will have:
· Good literacy and numeracy skills supported by relevant qualifications.
· Confidence in dealing with a wide range of people.
· Understanding of child protection policies and procedures
· NVQ level 3 or equivalent qualification or experience.
Working in partnership with the SENCO and class teachers:
· To contribute to the school's teaching and learning programme
· To support the school in raising student aspirations, challenge student learning and engage students in their own learning
