When you walk around Gosbecks Primary School, talking to our children and staff, you cannot fail to be struck by the enthusiasm, friendliness and overall willingness to be part of a stimulating environment that inspires learning and enables children to be the best they can be.

It is this ethos that is part of the DNA of our amazing school, an ethos that was recognised by Ofsted at our last inspection in 2024 when they reconfirmed our 'Good' rating. In particular, they recognised the inclusivity of our school and highlighted that 'the school has established high expectations for all pupils. Pupils understand the importance of aspiration through the school motto, 'be the best you can be'. They achieve well'

Our current Headteacher is moving on to pursue new interests, so we are looking for a new ambitious and passionate leader who can inspire a workforce and engage with stakeholders, parents and children alike to deliver an amazing experience for all. Gosbecks is an inclusive child focussed school and our aim is to give every child, regardless of background or circumstances, the best possible start in life and make their time in school a fun, enjoyable and rich experience.

If you think you could be our new leader, why not come and see for yourself. You are warmly welcomed and encouraged to arrange a tour to experience our wonderful school. Please contact the School Business Manager, Tracey Armstrong, on 01206 575407 to make an appointment.

All appointments are subject to safer recruitment requirements to ensure the safeguarding of children and young people. All positions will involve appropriate checks and clearances.
