Are you passionate about giving children the best possible start in life? Do you want to play a vital role in shaping the future of a local authority community infant school?
We're looking for committed, caring individuals to join our Governing Board as School Governors. This is your chance to make a real impact in your community, support the development of our school, and help ensure every child receives the quality education they deserve.
About the Role:
As a Governor, you'll work closely with the Headteacher and leadership team to:
- Provide strategic direction for the school
- Support and challenge school leadership
- Monitor school performance and ensure accountability
- Champion the needs of our children, families, and staff
What You'll Need:
No previous education experience required and we welcome applicants from all backgrounds. The most important qualities are:
- Enthusiasm and a desire to make a difference
- A commitment to attend meetings and training
- An ability to work as part of a team
- A willingness to ask questions and learn
- A few hours free each term for meetings and school visits.
