Maths Teacher - Castledon School (Full or Part-Time)
Location: Wickford, Essex
Start Date: 1st September 2025
Salary: MPS/UPS+ SEN1 Allowance (£2,679) + Fringe Area pay scales

About the Role:
You will deliver Maths to students working from Entry Level 1 to GCSE, within small, supportive groups. You'll have the space to be creative, to adapt, and to make learning engaging and impactful for all learners.
The Ideal Candidate Will:
· Hold QTS (or equivalent)
· Have experience working in either Primary, Secondary maths or in special education
· Be open to teaching an additional subject
· Have a secure knowledge of the foundations of maths
· Be passionate about raising academic standards while meeting each pupil at their starting point
· Push for academic progress but with a therapeutic, trauma-aware approach
· Be committed to developing SEND pedagogy and inclusive classroom practice
· Believe in the power of relationships to unlock learning
· Work collaboratively and with care in a values-led team
