School Profile

Rivenhall Church of England Primary is a small school on the outskirts of Witham with an growing number of children. Our children are aged 4 to 11 and will be taught in five classes from September 2025. The school is a community where we all work together, where individual needs are recognised and supported and where every child matters.

Our vision for our children is to 'Unlock the world of opportunity' for all by: developing faith, promoting wellbeing, enabling learning, encouraging responsibility, and inspiring aspiration.

We recognise and celebrate the individuality of each person, and yet also cherish the common good that is created when those hearts come together as one school. The shared Christian values that underpin our life as a school are: Love, Care, Wisdom, Respect and Courage and these come together in our school motto or "Many Hearts - One School"

The recent SIAMs inspection (September 2025) demonstrated that, "The school's Christian vision unites and binds the community and promotes love, acceptance and kindness across the school."

Rivenhall Church or England Primary School is an Ofsted rated 'Good' school.

We have close links with St Marys & All Saints Church which is next door to the school building. The team take an active role in weekly collective worship sessions. Pupils benefit fromvisiting the church for key events throughout the year.
