PART-TIME CATERING ASSISTANT
Required April 2025
20 hours per week, term time only (39 weeks)
Core Hours: 10 am to 2.00 pm, Monday to Friday
Essex Scale 2, Point 3 - 4
(Actual pay per annum £11,134 - £11,309)
We are a large, thriving junior academy looking to recruit an energetic and enthusiastic Catering Assistant to work in our kitchen as part of our highly successful catering team, who produce an average of 350 meals per day.
Previous experience of catering is desirable, although training will be available for the right candidate. If successful you will be required to assist in all aspects of general kitchen duties however, serving the children will be a key part of the role. You should be able to demonstrate a positive attitude and the ability to work as part of a team and to enthuse our children to enjoy healthy, home cooked food.
Applicants will also be required to complete a Level 2 Award in Food Safety in Catering.
