The Headteacher of Shoeburyness High School and the CEO of Southend East Community Academy Trust are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and hard working Pastoral Year Manager.
With experience of working with young people, parents, guardians, staff, governors and outside agencies, the ideal candidate will be assertive, confident, well organised, able to work on their own initiative and possess excellent interpersonal skills.
You will work in partnership with a team of experienced and highly skilled Heads of Year, Pastoral Year Managers and the wider pastoral and inclusion teams.
You will have responsibility for establishing a corporate year identity and have front-lne responsibility for child safeguarding and welfare. You will take day to day responsibility for the guidance and support of students in terms of their progress, pastoral needs, and social nad emotional wellbeing, liaising and working with stakeholders inclduing staff, parents, guardians and outside agencies.
It is essential that the appointed applicant has minimum GCSE Grade 4 and above or equivalent in Maths and English.
