Combined Role of LEARNING SUPPORT ASSISTANT/OPAL PLAY CO-ORDINATOR & MIDDAY ASSISTANT
(OPAL - Outdoor Play and Learning)
Hours per week - LSA 18.33 hours / OPAL 5 hours / MDA 5 hours
LSA & Play Co-ordinator Salary Scale 3 Point 5-6 - actual salary range £13,773 - £13,991 pa
MDA Salary Scale 2 Point 3-4 - actual salary £2,860 - £2,906 pa
Working times 8.35 am until 14.30 pm Monday to Friday

We are seeking a friendly, empathetic and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant and
Mid-Day Assistant to provide general classroom support.
We are looking for someone who is;
Ø confident, calm, and patient
Ø experienced in working with children
Ø able to work as part of a team and liaise closely with Class Teachers and the Inclusion Leader
The OPAL Play Coordinator will support and facilitate meaningful and productive child-initiated play during lunch time. In this role, we are looking for someone who:
Ø has prior experience of working with children in an educational or playwork setting
Ø has a particular interest in outdoor play and learning
Ø is willing to be outside in a range of weathers
