Catering Assistant (between 10 hours and 11 hours 40 mins per week)

Busy, friendly team looking for colleagues to assist with lunch service to our470 children. Our catering assistants supervise the children as they eat, helpwith any issues, clear trays and cutlery, keep the dining hall clean and calm aswell as assist in the kitchen at the end of service. Kitchen Assistants deals withserving food, being responsible for checking special dietary requirements areadhered to, clearing down, washing up and general kitchen duties.


To be successful you will enjoy working with children and be able to build astrong positive rapport through lunchtime service. You will also need todemonstrate a positive, flexible and committed approach to your work. This is a Monday - Friday term-time only

Based in Great Dunmow, Essex, Dunmow St Mary's Primary School is a 2FE Foundation primary school with extensive grounds, including our own woodland area and outdoor classroom. As a Church of England voluntary controlled school we have a strong commitment to Christian principles and values that recognise and celebrate the uniqueness of each individual.
