We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced, confident and efficient Administration Assistant to join our office team at Thorpe Hall School. Your role will primarily be to provide comprehensive administrative support to the Finance & HR team, however the role will also involve front of house support service for our busy and vibrant school. This post is for 35 hours per week during the term time plus staff training days and 3 weeks during the school holidays.

You will join an experienced and supportive team of staff and will work with friendly and caring students and parents.

This is an important position in our school and the successful candidate must have:

  • First class customer service skills
  • excellent oral and written English communication skills
  • be able to work under pressure
  • maintain positive relationships with all members of the school community at all times
  • have the ability to adapt to the ever-changing priorities and demands of the school office
  • maintaining high levels of accuracy and confidentiality
  • engage positively with our parents and parent community
  • manage sensitive situations with tact and diplomacy
  • maintain confidentiality at all times.
  • be educated to GCSE A-C or above in English & Maths
  • have excellent IT skills in Word and Excel
  • understand the importance and significance of safeguarding and data protection guidelines.
