Job Details

We are seeking an organised and proactive Deputy Exam Officer to assist the Exam Officer in managing all administrative processes related to examinations. This role includes overseeing vocational qualifications, supporting exam entry processes, organising invigilators, and handling post-results inquiries. You will also deputise for the Exams Officer in their absence, ensuring smooth operations and supporting students, staff, and parents with exam-related matters.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Manage student registrations and coordinate entries for external assessments.
  • Support exam entries, including re-sits, and assist with distribution of results.
  • Lead exam planning and delivery on campus under the guidance of the Examinations Officer.
  • Arrange invigilator schedules and provide necessary information for exam sessions.
  • Respond to inquiries from students, parents, and awarding bodies
  • Participate in safeguarding, equality, health and safety, and college values initiatives.
  • Promote student welfare and safety in accordance with college policies.
  • Occasionally travel across campuses
  • Engage in college-wide activities and contribute to a collaborative environment.

Job Requirements:

  • At least a level 2 in Maths & English
  • Worked within a busy customer focused environment
  • Competent use of database systems to record, analyse data & provide reports
