30 hours per week, term time only.
We are looking to appoint an experienced, hard-working, conscientious Learning Support Assistant, to support children's learning and to share in the care and well-being of the children throughout the school.
The role may require you to support pupils learning in a variety of different ways; either within a whole class setting, small groups, delivering interventions, or on a 1:1 basis to children who require a higher level of assistance to enable them to participate effectively in mainstream education.
Ideally you should hold an NVQ2 qualification and have experience in supporting children's learning.
You should also be able to demonstrate strong literacy and numeracy skills, good behaviour management skills and a passion for supporting learning.
You will join our forward-looking and enthusiastic, dedicated staff team, who will provide a high level of continued support and guidance.
You will also need to be flexible, with a 'can do' attitude and be able to use your initiative, should the unexpected happen!
Visits to the school are warmly welcomed. Please contact the school to arrange a visit.
The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. Appointment to this post is subject to an enhanced DBS and background checks.
