Attendance Officer - Part Time Permanent Term-Time Only Contract

Hours: 20hrs per week, 10am - 2pm Monday to Friday (Term Time Only)

Salary: £22,308gross per annum (£10,204.48 actual take home pro-rota salary per annum for Term Time Only contract 20hrs per week)

Job Description

The Attendance Officer will monitor and track pupil attendance. This role will be based in our Witham office.

Responsibilities:

As an Attendance Officer you will:

· Log attendance daily with schools and Local Authority

· Deal with telephone calls i.e. attendance calls and enquiries as appropriate

· Be familiar with and use Microsoft packages i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook

· Deal with email enquiries, using an email system (e.g., Microsoft Outlook)

· Liaise with Local Authority and parents where required

· Organise and store paperwork, documents and computer-based information

· Monitor and report attendance data to senior leadership team

· General administrative tasks as and when required

· Previous experience in an education setting is desirable, but not essential
