We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed teacher of History and Citizenship to join our ever-growing department to motivate and inspire pupils to achieve their best.
The Position
We are looking for someone who would enjoy working with engaging and curious pupils at Key Stages 3 and 4. The department is very well resourced with a range of innovative equipment.
Our School
The school itself is an oversubscribed high achieving school in Leigh on Sea and offers teachers the chance to develop their craft as subject teachers. There is great value placed on the experience of learning; extensive CPD opportunities are available both internally and externally and are tailored to meet the individual needs of teachers. The pupils who attend the school are impressive, well-mannered, and caring.
As a school, we are committed to developing the whole person. The academy is a place where leadership support staff to really engage pupils in their learning and develop as a teacher. Staff mobility is incredibly low. We value our staff and understand the pressures associated with teaching, as such, staff mobility is incredibly low. The academy also provides a range of well-being support and facilities including use of the fitness suite, swimming pool and Employee Assistance Programme.
