Administrative Assistant/Receptionist
Start: ASAP
Permanent contract
35 hours per week (Monday to Friday) 8am - 4pm, term time plus 2 weeks, plus 5 inset training days.
Salary - Band 4 - Point 12-20 - Actual salary £20,394 - £24,184 (which includes fringe allowance)
Salary dependent upon experience.
The Christus Catholic Trust and the Local Governing Committee of this vibrant and successful school, wish to appoint an Office Administrator/ Receptionist to join our friendly and dedicated staff team. The suitable candidate will be:
- Be enthusiastic, confident and able to show initiative and resilience
- Be an effective communicator with pupils and staff
- Be self-motivated with high expectations of self and others
- Have the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with pupils, treating them with respect and consideration.
The successful applicant would be expected to:
- Provide administrative support to the Office Manager
- Have good organisation and communication skills
- Have good IT skills
- Be an effective communicator with pupils, parents and staff
- Have good admin skills and data entry
- Troubleshoot and solve problems/issues for parents and teachers
- To give first aid to students and assist with medical room duties
- Respond to school emails
- Understake reception duties as required
- Ensure school security and safeguarding arrangements are complied with
- Undertake filing and photocoping
- Be fully supportive of the Catholic ethos of the school
