A fixed term maternity cover position has become available to join our dedicated team here at Epping Primary School. We are looking to appoint an excellent teacher for a Year 2 class, in our 2-form entry school from the start of Autumn Term 2, w/c 4th November2024. Transition days will take place at the end of AutumnTerm 1 (w/c 21st October) to allow for a smooth handover from the current teacher. We are looking for an inspiring practitioner, passionate about high-quality, child-centred teaching and learning and someone who has high expectations of achievement and attainment for all pupils.
Applicants will have a proven record of exemplary classroom practice, have the ability to think and work innovatively and creatively, and enjoy working as part of a dedicated team. (Ofsted 2022) Applicants must also be responsive to our whole school ethos of ensuring the very best for every child. "Pupils enjoy coming to Epping Primary School and are proud of their school. In addition, the ideal candidate will:
Be a qualified primary school teacher- this post is also open to ECT's
Have thorough knowledge of the curriculum and assessment procedures
Be able to build strong relationships with pupils and their families
Have high expectations of themselves and the pupils
Be committed to personal professional development
