Vacancy - SEND Learning Support Assistant EYFS
Hours 8.30 am - 1pm Mon - Fri (term time only with lunch duties)
Salary Scale 3 Point 5 - £11,922

We are seeking to appoint enthusiastic and motivated Learning Support Assistant to join our EYFS team. The role will involve working as part of a teaching team to support the learning, and social and emotional development of individual pupils with special educational needs. We are looking for people with empathy, understanding and a determination to provide children with the very best opportunity and access to learning across the curriculum. This is an opportunity to make a real difference to a child who has additional needs.
The post is for approximately 22.5 hours per week, 8.30a.m to 1p.m, every day, term time only and will include some supervision during break times / lunchtimes. However there is a possibility for full time hours (until 3.15pm), elsewhere in the school.

The successful applicant should preferably have:

Experience of working in schools or nursery

Experience of children with additional needs/ medical needs Good communication skills A commitment to meeting the needs of pupils with special educational needs and disabilities

A willingness to respond to medical care needs An ability to work on their own initiative as well as part of a team
Elsenham C. of E. Primary is a friendly, successful and growing school, situated in the village of Elsenham, close to the market town of Bishop's Stortford.
