Wishes to appoint a
Community Governor
This is a voluntary position involving half-termly meetings.
We invite applications for the role of Governor to join our cohesive and supportive team. We are specifically seeking an individual with professional experience, ideally in finance or education, gained across various sectors. Our diverse group of governors share a deep passion for the transformative impact of education on young lives.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate closely with the school leadership team.
Oversee the strategic direction and overall performance of our school.
We are particularly interest in the individuals that have quality of education knowledge and interest and finance.
Being a governor requires several key qualities:
Child-Centric Commitment: A genuine dedication to the welfare and academic achievement of the children.
Positive Contribution: A desire to actively contribute to the school community.
Practical Judgment: Common sense and practical decision-making.
Time Commitment: A willingness to invest time in the role.

Governors play a crucial role in our school. Many of their functions are either statutory or governed by legal frameworks. To effectively fulfill their strategic responsibilities, governors must think strategically, challenge, monitor, and provide support. We offer a comprehensive induction, training and support package and this is a great opportunity for professional development at board level.
