We are a 'Good' school, looking to become truly 'Outstanding'. This is a great opportunity for a Science teacher to make their mark in a rapidly improving and growing school community, supported by a progressive multi-academy trust (TKAT) who value collaboration and sharing successes.
We are an oversubscribed school, with a uniquely positive and supportive staff body. Our colleagues work closely together, support one another in all aspects of their work, and believe wholeheartedly in our community vision. This feeling is palpable amongst our teaching and support staff, and we are driven by our commitment to our core values: Kindness, Hard Work, and Ambition.
From September, we are planning to dedicate up to 2 hours every week to continued professional development. We will finish earlier one day a week for focused training, so our staff can grow and develop in all aspects of their work. We also work closely with our 'Outstanding' sister school, Debden Park High School, as well as TKAT's Training and Development Network, to provide the very best opportunities for CPD.
We are looking for a determined, hard-working and ambitious Science Teacher, who believes in the transformational power of excellent teaching, and is passionate about getting the best possible outcomes for children, regardless of their circumstances or starting point. As a member of our rapidly developing Science Department, you will take an active role in the next chapter of our success story.
