Berlesduna Trust has an exciting opportunity for a HR Business Partner to join the team.

The role is 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday during term time plus 2 weeks in the school holidays.

Scale 12, Point Range 43-48, Salary £47,458 - £53,921 including paid annual leave which should be taken during school closure periods.

Berlesduna Academy Trust is based in Basildon and currently comprises of ten primary schools as well as a Teacher Training Partnership and Autism Hub. The Trust is looking to expand and is a vibrant, exciting and dynamic place to learn and work. Our ethos is very much about devolved leadership and all of our schools run independently supported by our small central team.

The Trust is seeking to appoint a HR Business Partner to provide HR support to our Headteachers and Senior Leaders as well as getting involved with the daily life of our schools. There will also be an opportunity to provide strategic HR leadership to the CEO and the Trustees. This is a unique opportunity to encompass and develop HR strategy within the Trust as well as dealing with live HR issues as they occur.

This role offers the flexibility of hybrid working. You will have the option to work from home, with regular visits to our main office and school sites, based on business needs.

The successful candidate will have the following:

· Demonstrable experience of HR matters in an education environment

· Outstanding knowledge of pay and conditions for all school based staff

· A thorough understanding of the requirements of the Keeping Children Safe in Education statutory guidance and its impact on employee relations

· High level of experience in senior appointments including Headteachers and other school based leaders

· Be solution focussed whilst maintain a flexible approach and a can do, will do attitude.
